I've never taken or used matcha before. I've heard how beneficial it is for my health. So, I wasn't prepared for the strong taste it has. It as well has lots and lots of caffeine (don't do what I did; I drank it at 6pm, no sleeping tonight). It made me feel very awake, aware, and very energized. The preparation of the matcha tea is very simple. The water has to be warm, do not use any metal objects (otherwise it oxides the tea), mix it until it's completely dissolved and drink it. Matcha tea powder is very versatile as well. You can add it to your baking treats and use it as a facial mask too. The matcha color is very vibrant & has a very nice fresh smell to it. Midori Spring's Ceremonial Gold Matcha Important Information:

Indications: If pull top seal is broken, contact manufacturer for immediate return.

Ingredients: Organic and Kosher Certified, 100% Pure Matcha Green Tea Powder. Harvested from the finest tea gardens in Japan. Certified, tested, and tasted by 9th Degree Tea Masters to make sure each batch is perfection.

Directions: Traditional Method- What you need: Matcha Bowl (Chawan), Matcha Whisk (Chasen), Bamboo Scoop (Chashaku), Small Sifter 1. Warm up matcha bowl and bamboo whisk. Place whisk in bowl and fill ¹/3 of bowl with hot water. Let it sit for 1 minute, discard water. Dry bowl with clean cloth or paper towel. 2. With the bamboo scoop place 2 scoops of Midori Spring Matcha through a small sifter into bowl to avoid clumping. 3. Pour 60mL/2oz of hot water (72-76°c, 162-169°f) into bowl and whisk briskly in a "W" motion until fine foam appears. The whisk should not scratch the bottom of the bowl. 4. Sip and Enjoy!
