This was my first experience with this type of product.
This microdermabrasion device is simple enough for anyone to use, once you get the hang of it. The tip has quite a bit of suction & took a couple of minutes to get the hang of the proper movement. I used it on the low setting at first to get my skin accustomed to this new gadget. I held the skin taut with one hand, while running the device across my skin in the instructed set pattern. Be very careful not leave the MiniMD in the same spot for any length of time (otherwise you get red spots that look kinda like hickies...lol) and move relatively quickly in the pattern as shown. After the first use my face was red and splotchy. The red spots did fade away within an hour or so. I can't say after one treatment I have seen any drastic results or fine line reduction. However, I'm able to say that my skin looks really good, there is a glow to it that I haven't seen in a long time. My skin drank up my facial products I put on afterwards. I am so excited to see my results after extended use.
This device is very portable. I like that it comes with extra little filters. You have to remove the white part that's attached to the diamond tip to remove & replace the black little filters (there's no instructions on this in the manual booklet, I had to figure this out on my own). I highly recommend you read the instruction manual very thoroughly. The instruction manual provides some movement directional guidelines for each area of the face & do what I did, search YouTube (for more specific & correct instruction of use)!
